Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 5 years’ experience Plaintiff’s personal injury
Minimum 2 years at single company
Active Notary Public, State of Texas, strongly preferred
Must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and grammar skills
Teamplayer
Capability to perform duties with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and discernment
Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
Must be able to handle the following tasks and have experience performing same:
• Calendaring and scheduling of depositions, mediations, etc.;
• Heavy client interaction;
• Maintain spreadsheet of clients’ medical treatment and update as needed;
• E-filing in state cases and federal cases;
• Formatting and sending correspondence to all parties;
• Formatting discovery for attorney approval as well as obtaining responses from client;
• Prepare outgoing mail, scanned incoming mail, and save same to case management system
• Keep file updated, downloading pleadings and faxes.
• Prepare binders for depositions and hearings;
• Format and send correspondence to all parties;
• E-filing in state and federal cases;
• Maintain calendar and master spreadsheets;
• Obtain all travel arrangements for attorney to attend hearings and depositions;
Candidate must possess a VERY HIGH level of organization with the ability to take orders quickly while problem solving with little or no oversight, then please do not apply. This is a not an environment for someone looking to learn as they go but for someone that knows how to perform this job and wants to excel with upwards mobility.
Compensation: $40,000-$50,000
