What the role is:
You will be part of a team of officers in the Legal Services Regulatory Authority (“LSRA”), a department under Min Law, which licenses and regulates law firms and registers foreign lawyers in Singapore.

will include:
Shaping Singapore’s regulatory policies on legal services to keep pace with a complex, fast-changing environment.
Reviewing the Legal Profession Act 1966 to implement these regulatory policies (where legislative amendments are necessary), and to modernise the Act so that it continues to meet the legal sector’s evolving needs.

. Academic training in law, economics or accountancy and/or experience in legal, regulatory and/or compliance work would be relevant and useful, but candidates from other disciplines are also welcome to apply. Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract in the first instance.
