We are seeking a smart and motivated employment lawyer to join our legal team. We are interested in lawyers experienced in the employment and labour field. The successful candidate will advise and represent clients on matters relating to employment and/or labour law. The ideal candidate has experience in employment or labour law.
Duties
of the position include:
Independently managing client files;
Written and oral
advocacy
;
Drafting correspondence, pleadings, mediation briefs, motion materials, etc.;
Attending examinations for discovery;
Attending mediations;
Appearing in court or before tribunals;
Representing and advising clients in settlement negotiations; and Independentand
collaborative
development of legal strategy.
