Our Employment Law practice continues to expand, and we are seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to manage complex litigation matters from intake through resolution.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a senior-level Employment Law Attorney with 10+ consecutive years of employment law litigation experience to independently manage and litigate employment matters, including single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits. This role requires deep familiarity with California employment law and the ability to handle cases through all phases of litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a full caseload of employment law matters from inception through trial or settlement
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including:
Case evaluation and strategy development
Drafting and responding to pleadings
Discovery (written discovery, meet and confer, motions to compel)
Taking and defending depositions
Law and motion practice (demurrers, motions to dismiss, MSJs, MSAs)
Court appearances and hearings
- Litigate class action and representative actions, including wage and hour, PAGA, and
- related claims
- Conduct mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff while maintaining ownership of
- assigned matters
- Maintain compliance with all ethical and professional standards under California law
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the State Bar of California (required)
- Minimum of 5+ continuous years of employment law litigation experience
- Demonstrated experience handling full-cycle employment litigation
- Prior experience with class action and/or PAGA matters
- Strong command of California and federal employment laws, including:
o Wage and hour
o Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation
o Wrongful termination
o FEHA, FLSA, and related statutes
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, and work autonomously
Preferred:
- Trial experience or significant trial preparation experience
- Experience in both plaintiff-side and defense-side employment litigation
- Familiarity with Los Angeles and California state courts

Pay: $250,000.00 – $450,000.00 per year
