Whitten Law Office LLC is a growing medium-sized law firm, which focuses its practice on, and service clients in, the transportation and logistics industry in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, and other states with special permission. Our Indianapolis office has an opening for an experienced legal assistant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a remote basis. We will offer the successful candidate a competitive salary, with additional wages for health insurance procurement, disability insurance, 401K, and paid time off benefits.
The successful candidate for this position must have the following qualifications:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
· Proficient in basic computer functionality.
· Experience with both state and federal court filing.
· Experience in calendaring court dates and case deadlines for multiple attorneys.
· Excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar skills.
· Ability to prioritize.
· Detail-oriented and possess superior organization skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively.
· Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task.
