We are looking for an attorney with experience handling both misdemeanor and felony cases. The right attorney will have a passion for helping people. Excellent client communications is a necessity. It is not sufficient to simply know the law or how to handle the client’s case. We need someone that clients want as their attorney and who will happily refer others to after their case is completed successfully.
This means that clients will be proactively reached out to, responded to within 24 hours, and talked to even after business hours.
If you want to make more than you did at your old job you can do so here. Bring in your own clients and receive a percentage of your revenue generated. If you are a rain maker then watch your income grow as you earn bonuses.
Want to learn a way to run a private practice? We will share everything we know. Even better, you will be partially responsible for onboarding new clients which will help you learn one of the most important aspects of private practice.
Expect to be in court every day, and when you aren’t expect to be working on clients matters. The majority of cases will be split between San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
This isn’t just an 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. job. This role is for those with the ambition to continually increase their income by focusing on clients, their experiences, and their case outcomes.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the state bar and active legal license
Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
Strong writing and legal drafting skills
Additional Responsibilities
Must learn how to handle DMV Administrative Per Se hearings
Must learn how to handle all types of restraining orders
Must learn firearms law
Must learn school suspension/expulsion laws
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
