UH2 specialises in green hydrogen and green ammonia energy solutions, dedicated to fostering a sustainable, reliable, and cost-effective energy ecosystem amidst rapid market expansion. UH2 focuses on the development of green power generation, distribution, and storage solutions. 

We’re actively advancing hydrogen (H2) and ammonia (NH3) projects in Brazil, Canada, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden and continuously expanding. Currently, we are recruiting for a Corporate Lawyer. 

 

As a Corporate Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support to our project development team. You will be responsible for negotiating and drafting various types of agreements, including agreements, land leases, and construction contracts. Additionally, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, such as engineers and project managers, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate legal risks. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsible for managing the legal operations of a group of companies within an international organisation, including but not exclusively: 

Negotiate a wide range of global commercial transactions, from sales agreements to partnership deals, deeds and everything in between. 

Advise internal stakeholders regarding key issues and risks in our commercial contracts and ensure that our agreements reflect our high internal standards and guidelines. 

Engage with internal business clients to develop and enhance a streamlined, efficient, and scalable contracting process. 

Tackle anything else in the field that gets thrown your way as needed to support a fast-growing, dynamic, and innovative global company. 

You will be required to have flexibility and overlap in your working hours to accommodate meetings across global time zones. 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills with the ability to manage and foster key stakeholder relationships and collaborate with teams across the business. 

Autonomy & concise decision-making skills 

An understanding and appreciation of privacy, data protection, information security and related issues – with demonstrated ability to negotiate agreements on these issues. 

Sound knowledge of Law and Legal system 

Razor sharp organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects. 

Excellent written/verbal communication skills in Portuguese & English (additional languages are a plus).
