As we expand our legal operations in New York City, we are looking to hire a talented Senior Corporate Governance Paralegal to join our team. This role offers a high level of ownership over your work, the opportunity to manage one team member, and a pathway to leadership within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a coordinator who will support you in your role
- Collaborate within a small legal team, while working cross-functionally with other departments
- Assist with state filings and annual reports to ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Prepare and file various corporate documents, including entity formations and dissolutions
- Draft and prepare corporate resolutions and minutes
- Assist with real estate transactions and closings
Must-Have Skills:
- 8+ years of corporate paralegal experience
- Extensive experience in corporate governance
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Self-motivated, with strong time management and organizational skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the real estate industry
- Registered Paralegal certification
- Prior mentorship or management experience
