The Senior Contracts Manager will lead negotiations with suppliers and service providers, managing a broad range of agreements, including professional services, IT hardware, marketing, employee services, and facilities. This role requires expertise in structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
As a key negotiator, you will collaborate with stakeholders across Sourcing, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to drive transactions to completion within critical time frames. You will also oversee contract policies, approval processes, risk mitigation, and ongoing contract administration. This position demands sound judgment, the ability to navigate high-stakes negotiations, and a strategic mindset to balance business needs with risk management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or legal training preferred.
4+ years of experience in complex contract negotiations and commercial transactions.
Strong knowledge of legal concepts such as liability, indemnification, warranties, termination, data security, and confidentiality.
Proven ability to lead negotiations, manage risks, and drive favorable business outcomes.
Experience supporting business teams in a technology or large corporate environment.
Expertise in contract law, UCC (or similar legal frameworks), and regulatory compliance.
Ability to mentor junior team members and provide strategic legal guidance.
Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
