“`Duties“`

– Must be reliable & on time as this position often opens/closes the office
– Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
– Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
– Some bookkeeping required (e.g., making deposits, writing receipts & some checks)
– Schedule appointments and maintain a virtual & paper appointment calendar
– Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
– Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
– Assist with clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, and filing
– Maintain a clean and organized reception area

This position has room to grow if the hired person has the skillset/experience to allow a transition to a legal assistant.

“`Experience“`
– Previous experience of atleast 2 RECENT years working in a law office or receptionist role required
– Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
– Strong proofreading and data entry skills
– Excellent organizational and time management abilities
– Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners
– Experience working with Estate Planning/Probate – is a MAJOR PLUS
– Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills
