ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Our law firm is looking for a full-time associate attorney at our York County office. We pride ourselves on delivering quality services to our clients while offering our employees a healthy work/life balance. The associate attorney will be practicing the following areas of law:
– Estate planning
– Estate and trust administration / Probate
– Asset protection / Medicaid
– Guardianships and Conservatorships for adults
– Fiduciary services
. After an initial training period, the associate attorney will be fairly independent. At our office, each attorney sets his/her own schedule, meets with and selects clients, manages his/her own workload, and performs the necessary work for each file. Paralegals and staff are available to assist all attorneys. Therefore, each attorney must:
– be extremely well-organized with effective time management skills; and
– be able to prioritize projects, manage his/her workload, and direct paralegals and staff; and
– have the interpersonal skills to meet with and secure clients; and
– have the substantive knowledge and analytical skills to manage client matters independently.
. The associate attorney will receive many client leads and appointments through the firm. However, the attorney is also encouraged to generate his/her own business through outreach, networking, and community involvement. All attorneys are expected to generate business.
. We prefer candidates who have already graduated from law school and passed the bar exam. However, we will also consider candidates who anticipate taking the bar exam in 2025.
. Initial compensation is dependent on experience. After six months, compensation is calculated based on the amount of income the attorney generates. Employees also enjoy paid holidays, vacation accrual, medical and dental insurance, and an IRA plan.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
