We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our team at McClanahan Powers. Located in Falls Church, Virginia, this role is essential in supporting our attorneys with various legal tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with case preparation and legal research.
Manage and organize case files using document management systems.
Conduct research using Lexis-Nexis and other legal resources.
Maintain communication with clients and manage phone inquiries professionally.
Proofread documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Coordinate schedules for depositions, hearings, and meetings.
Support the firm’s administrative functions as needed.
Qualifications
Proficiency in document management systems and legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
Strong skills in legal drafting and document review.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
Experience with case management software is a plus.
