Drive VNG Games’ compliance program by ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across regulated digital and gaming environments. Support the Compliance Manager in embedding a compliance-first culture throughout the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Compliance Governance
- Maintain Compliance Framework, Program Manual, and system centralized tracking dashboard.
- Conduct periodic Compliance Risk Assessments; maintain Risk Register and mitigation plans.
- Support Corporate Governance Framework.
2. Privacy & Data Protection
- Develop and maintain Personal Data Protection policies, procedures, and Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Manage cross-border data transfer controls (SCCs/BCRs) and children’s data protection (age verification, parental consent).
- Execute Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA), and data subject rights.
- Oversee consent architecture, cookie governance, and third-party data processor agreements.
3. Product Lifecycle Compliance
- Maintain product compliance review frameworks, checklists, and assessment templates across the product lifecycle.
- Execute per-product/release compliance reviews; manage sign-off records and non-compliance tracking.
4. Financial Crime Prevention
- Support awareness, foster of AML/CTF, Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC).
- Build and oversee Fraud Investigation program.
5. IP Protection
- Maintain IP, Brand Protection, Anti-Piracy, and AI Enforcement frameworks
- Execute IP monitoring, enforcement audits, and manage takedown requests
6. Code of Conduct & Ethics
- Support awareness, foster of COC/COI/Whistleblowing policies, disclosure forms, reporting channels, and Speak-Up Culture initiatives
- Oversee Pre-Employment Screening & Background Vetting program
7. Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain Regulatory Obligations Register and deadline tracking
- Conduct regulatory monitoring, gap analysis
- Execute compliance reviews for product materials, projects, and marketing/communications
- Prepare annual compliance reports
8. Monitoring, Training & Reporting
- Design and deliver Compliance Training & Awareness programs; measure effectiveness
- Execute Compliance Monitoring & Testing programs
- Coordinate with Internal Audit on compliance matters and remediation tracking
- Prepare Board & Senior Management compliance reports and briefing decks
9. Strategic & Advisory
- Assist the Compliance Manager in developing the annual Compliance Strategy and roadmap.
- Lead regulatory change assessments; evaluate business impact and coordinate implementation across teams.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement of the compliance framework.
- Provide proactive compliance advisory to senior management on regulatory risks and new business initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years in law, compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs. Digital/gaming/technology industry experience highly preferred. Data privacy regulation experience (PDPD, GDPR) is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication in Vietnamese and English. Ability to manage multiple projects independently. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of regulatory compliance, data protection.
