About the Opportunity
Mazoogi is working with an established civil litigation firm with a long-standing presence across New York State seeking a senior-level Attorney/Partner to help lead its Uniondale office.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced litigator looking to step into a leadership role within a satellite office environment. The firm handles a broad range of matters including insurance defense, labor law, construction litigation, premises liability, motor vehicle, property damage, and general liability defense.
The incoming attorney will be expected to independently manage a substantial caseload while also overseeing and mentoring two associates within the office.
What You’ll Do
* Independently manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
* Handle depositions, court appearances, motion practice, mediations, and trials
* Supervise and mentor two associates within the Uniondale office
* Communicate directly with clients, insurance carriers, and claims professionals
* Assist with case strategy, workflow management, and day-to-day office leadership
* Maintain strong relationships with firm clients and help ensure high-quality legal service
What We’re Looking For
* 6+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
* Strong background in insurance defense, labor law, construction litigation, premises liability, or general liability matters
* Ability to independently manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
* Prior supervisory or mentorship experience preferred
* Deposition and courtroom experience required
* Strong legal writing and analytical skills
* Writing sample may be requested during the interview process
* Admitted to practice in New York
Compensation
* Base Salary: 175-225k annually
* Performance-based bonus structure. 6-figure potential.

Pay: $180,000.00 – $225,000.00 per year
