Overview
Rapidly growing prominent national law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to provide assistance to our accounting department.

Duties

Assist accounting team with preparation of client settlements and advances.
Support data entry tasks, including processing invoices and tracking expenses.
Help maintain accurate records of vendors and financial transactions in client files.
Help manage case expenses which includes scanning expenses to client folders and update case management software and spreadsheets.
Return client phone calls.
Make copies of checks and mail to clients and vendors.
File accounting documents such as checks and expense invoices.

Requirements

Experience in an office environment.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Strong ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and capacity to keep information confidential.
Ability to interface with clients in a professional manner.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively within the team.

This is a contract position with the ability to become permanent based upon performance. Once permanent, we offer health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and 401k, and PTO.

Pay: $17.50 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
