Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Attorney based in New York or Florida.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of legal experience, with a strong background in handling complex and high-value legal matters. Experience working both at a law firm and as in-house counsel is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and provide legal advice on complex business and corporate legal matters.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal support and risk assessment for business operations and major commercial matters.
- Manage complex legal cases, disputes, transactions, and other significant legal matters.
- Work with external law firms, internal stakeholders, and senior management when necessary.
- Provide practical legal advice and solutions based on business needs.
- Support negotiations and other major business activities from a legal perspective.
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and advise the company on potential risks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of legal experience.
- Qualified lawyer/attorney with relevant U.S. legal experience.
- Candidates based in New York or Florida are preferred.
- Experience working at a law firm is preferred.
- In-house legal experience is also highly preferred.
- Experience handling or participating in major and complex legal matters is required.
- Experience with cases, disputes, transactions, or other matters involving USD 100 million or more would be a strong advantage.
- Strong legal analysis, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and handle complex legal matters with limited supervision.
Preferred Profile
Candidates with experience in both a reputable law firm and an in-house legal team will be given strong consideration.
Experience handling significant, high-value matters, particularly those exceeding USD 100 million, will be considered a major advantage.
The compensation package is open and negotiable depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Pay: From $160,000.00 per year
