Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and communicative medical records clerk to work with our personal injury team. This part-time role is based out of our Downtown Baltimore office and reports directly to the personal injury team’s paralegal.
The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
Ordering medical records and medical bills via our vendor’s online system and frequently following up on such requests
Addressing issues that arise regarding those requests such as ensuring written authorization, verifying proper contact information, etc.
Reviewing responses to requests to ensure the correct documents have been received, saving responses in the firm’s case management system
Creating and maintaining binders of responses and communications
Qualifications
Experience working in an office environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Word
