Job Title: Contract Attorney (Remote)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to support our client with general business litigation matters. This is a fully remote position, ideal for individuals looking to manage their own time while contributing to meaningful legal work.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal support in various business litigation matters.
Draft and prepare motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses in a timely manner.
Conduct legal research as necessary to support case strategies.
Assist in the preparation and execution of court appearances, all performed remotely.
Review and analyze legal documents and contracts related to litigation.
Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress.
Stay updated on relevant laws and legal best practices pertaining to business litigation.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in at least one state;
Prior experience in business litigation or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of local court rules and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with e-discovery tools and case management software.
Strong organizational abilities and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in drafting and responding to discovery requests.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 – $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 4 per week
