The organization is a flagship gigaproject under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, aiming to create a world-class entertainment, cultural and lifestyle destination. As a multibillion-dollar project, it will encompass vast infrastructure development, hospitality, retail and service sectors, which requires effective and large scale management of supplier relationships and supply chain risks.
The Senior Associate – SRM will support the implementation of the org’s SRM agenda. This comprises onboarding suppliers, ensuring complete and up-to-date documentation, acting as the org’s point-of-contact to the suppliers, providing internal stakeholders with intelligence available on registered suppliers, and tracking supplier performance metrics across all projects within the org.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Support suppliers in onboarding onto the organization’s SRM platform, collecting and systematically storing required documents
Support communications with suppliers, sharing relevant resources, providing guidance on using the SRM platform, and ensuring they update their documents and contact information regularly
Conduct data analyses to recommend suitable interaction models for each supplier, according to the size and nature of their partnership with the org
Store supplier information for the org and provide business teams with supplier information as required
Supplier Performance Metrics Oversight:
Conduct performance analyses to track supplier performance against predefined key performance indicators (KPIs), such as quality, timelines, and cost efficiency
Support generation of supplier performance reports to assess trends and identify areas for improvement
Support regular performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with contracts and agreed standards
Team Management, Learning & Development
Oversee and support junior team members, ensuring professional growth through mentorship
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the SRM & SCR Team
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management & Supply Chain roles, ideally in large-scale projects such as construction, real estate, or urban development
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, Business, or related fields
Preferred: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
Experience with KSA regulatory requirements and familiarity with Vision 2030 goals is highly desirable
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address risks effectively
Proven track record of working in cross-collaborative environments
Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Arabic highly desirable
Understanding of the local cultural and business landscape in Saudi Arabia through work experience in the region preferred
