A highly regarded boutique family law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Associate to join its close-knit and values-driven team.

The Opportunity
This role will suit a Senior Family Lawyer who is looking for a Part-Time, Work from Home position, who is passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes, enjoys autonomy over their work, and values quality over volume. You will manage your own caseload of complex family law matters while working within a supportive, collaborative environment that genuinely prioritises client care and ethical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, parenting, spousal & partner maintenance, property, financial etc
- Provide clear, strategic and empathetic advice to clients during challenging life circumstances
- Run matters autonomously from initial consultation through to resolution
- Appear in court, mediations, conciliations and dispute resolution conferences
- Draft high-quality court documents, affidavits, agreements and correspondence
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
About You
- Admitted Australian Lawyer with 5+ years’ post-admission experience in family law
- Demonstrated experience managing family law files independently
- Strong advocacy, negotiation and drafting skills
- A client-first mindset with a high level of empathy and emotional intelligence
- Aligned with a values-based approach to legal practice
- Professional, discreet and capable of handling sensitive matters with care
- High attention to detail
- Open, honest communication at all times
- Excellent writing skills
