Chambers of Joshi & Singh is looking to hire lawyers to assist Founding Partner Naman Joshi with his litigation practice. Naman is an alumnus of National Law University, Delhi (2014) and after having worked at Karanjawala & Co. for 3 years, he set up Chambers of Joshi & Singh with Advocate-on-Record Jasmeet Singh an alumnus of National Law University, Jodhpur (2008).
Naman has been recognized by Forbes India as a Top Individual Lawyer (Under 10 Years Experience) in the Legal Powerlist 2020, Legal Powerlist 2021, and Legal Powerlist 2022.
Naman’s practice is a 90-10 split between pure litigation and corporate advisory work. The practice is focused on civil and corporate litigation and is primarily High Court centric. However, he also frequently appears in the Supreme Court, District Courts, NCLT and NCLAT, and before arbitral tribunals.
There is one position and the ideal candidate fis:
A 4-5 PQE with strong drafting skills. The candidate, if hired, will be supervising the work of two 0-1 PQE lawyers and will be expected to draft independently, supervise the work of her team members, and appear in court independently as well as to assist Naman Joshi. Mooting and debating record during college will be considered but will not be a requirement.
Writing/drafting sample is a must along with a CV for application. Only candidates with an established background in litigation – previous jobs and internship experience – should apply. The candidate would be joining 6 other advocates who assist Naman Joshi. Remuneration will be at par or higher than industry standard.
