Role description

The Legal department at TresVista is responsible for ensuring agreements entered into with its clients, vendors and third parties are compliant with TresVista’s contracting requirements, applicable local regulations as well as providing advisory support to stakeholders, research into applicable laws and regulations in geographies where TresVista operates, negotiating terms of engagement with vendors and drafting legal documents as required by the company.

The Role & Responsibilities

Commercial & Technology Contracts:

•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, SaaS, data-sharing, and tech vendor agreements across India, US, UK, and Singapore

•Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle from term-sheet to execution, managing redlines and escalations with external counsel

•Advise internal stakeholders on contract risk, enforceability, and commercial implications

AI & Legal Automation:

•Deploy and manage Legal AI agents for contract review, clause extraction, and risk flagging

•Own and administer the firm’s CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) platform — configure workflows, templates, and approval routing

•Identify and implement AI-driven process improvements across the legal function

Corporate Compliance:

•General Corporate and M&A – Advisory and Documentation

Prerequisites

Technical Skills:

•Hands-on experience with Legal AI tools (e.g. Harvey, Claude AI, or equivalent) for contract analysis and drafting

•Proficiency with CLM platforms — configuration, workflow design, and reporting

•Ability to build or co-design Legal AI agent workflows in collaboration with technology teams

•Strong command of MS Office and document management systems

Domain Knowledge:

•Deep understanding of commercial contract law across common law jurisdictions

•Familiarity with technology laws, data privacy laws (DPDP, GDPR), and corporate governance requirements

•Working knowledge in corporate and employment laws

Technical Skills:

•Commercially astute with strong judgement under time pressure

•Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity

•Collaborative leader with demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team

Experience

•5+ years in a Tier-1 full-service law firm and/or 7+ years in-house legal teams

•Proven track record negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts

Education

•LLB / LLM from a reputed institution

Compensation
