Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by managing legal documentation, conducting research, and assisting with case preparation. This position requires a proactive approach to legal case management and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct interviews with clients to gather pertinent information for cases.
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials by organizing evidence and exhibits.
Review and transcribe legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Perform document review to identify relevant information for ongoing cases.
Maintain organized files and records for all legal cases, ensuring easy access to information.
Draft contracts and other legal documents as required by the attorneys.
Conduct legal research on various topics related to family law and environmental law.
Assist in managing deadlines and schedules for court filings and other legal obligations.
Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm or legal department.
Strong knowledge of family law and environmental law is preferred.
Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Proficient in document review processes and legal case management practices.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Ability to transcribe documents accurately and efficiently.
Familiarity with administrative tasks within a legal setting is advantageous.
A degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered.

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
