Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Florida family law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, the ability to litigate effectively, and proficiency in legal drafting. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal matters, providing sound legal advice, drafting pleadings, and appearing for hearings and/or trials.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal matters.
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting clients’ interests.
Collaborate with other legal professionals within the law office to strategize case approaches.
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case progress.
Skills
Proficient in legal research tools, particularly Lexis-Nexis.
Strong litigation skills with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
Excellent legal drafting abilities for various documents.
Exceptional negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients’ interests.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
Two year Experience in a family law is mandatory.
