As the Manager – Security – Saudi Arabia representing Virgin Atlantic Security, you will lead and manage our security operation in Saudi Arabia, aligning with the regulations of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). Based in Riyadh, your role is to ensure that Virgin’s aviation security operations meet the highest standards of compliance and efficiency.
You will work with Virgin Atlantic Security to develop and enforce security policies, conduct audits and oversee the implementation of security procedures at King Khalid International Airport (RUH). You will also cultivate a strong relationship with GACA leadership and represent Virgin Atlantic at external events. Your leadership will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment and safeguarding the integrity of Virgin’s operations.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
Saudi Arabian citizenship or minimum right to work
Minimum education qualification – Graduate or equivalent
Successful completion of GACA required training (Basic, Management, Auditor, etc)
Successful completion of relevant background checks in accordance with regulatory requirements
Successful completion of UK DfT Aviation Security Manager Course
In depth knowledge of international, regional and national aviation security regulations
Prior experience in security operations of Saudi/multinational companies or experience in other security related law enforcement fields
Familiarity with risk management, including threat and risk assessment
Leadership and influencing skills
Comfortable operating with significant levels of detail
Excellent conflict resolutions skills
Emotional resilience – remains effective under pressure
Comfortable at planning and organising at a tactical level
High personal standards and professional – an ambassador for Virgin Atlantic
Ability to assess complex operational situations and implement solutions
Able to assimilate data quickly and concisely and use it to inform Operational decisions
Excellent cross functional and teamworking skills
A great communicator
Ability to engage people with shifting priorities
IT skills – comfortable with Microsoft Office
Working level Arabic and English
