Overview

Sales Manager- Legal Services Jobs in Bellevue, WA at The Jackman Law Firm

Are you a strong salesperson who’s ready to take the next step into leadership?

We’re looking for an ambitious, energetic, and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to master our sales process, prove themselves on the floor, and progress into a role where they can lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.

This isn’t a management role where you sit on the sidelines. You’ll be hands-on, involved in the sales process, and directly responsible for helping your team succeed.

Your Path to Sales Manager

We believe the best Sales Managers earn credibility by doing the work first. Before you can coach a team to sell at a high level, you need to show that you can consistently do it yourself.

You’ll begin in a player-coach path, starting as a Sales Agent for approximately 4–6 months, depending on your sales performance, leadership readiness, and progression.

During this stage, you’ll be expected to:

Learn and execute our sales process from the ground up.

Receive full training on conducting customer consultations and closing opportunities.

Carry an individual sales quota and demonstrate that you can consistently meet or exceed expectations.

Build a strong understanding of our customers, services, standards, and how the firm operates.

Begin showing leadership while still selling by helping teammates, sharing what works, and modeling accountability.

Prove that you can create results personally before being responsible for scaling those results across a team.

As you demonstrate consistent sales performance and leadership ability, you’ll transition further into a true player-coach role: continuing to sell while taking on more coaching, quality control, performance management, and team-development responsibilities. Once you have shown that you can successfully scale the team’s performance, you’ll move into the full-time Sales Manager role and will no longer carry an individual sales quota. At that point, your success will be measured by the performance, consistency, and development of the team you lead. You’ll still be willing to step into consultations or sales when coverage, coaching, or a difficult opportunity requires it—but your primary responsibility will be leading the team, not carrying a personal book of business.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Lead, Coach & Motivate

You’ll play a major role in building a team that performs at its best.

Conduct 2nd interviews, train, and onboard Sales Representatives.

Set individual and team sales targets.

Coach and mentor team members to improve their skills and confidence.

Motivate the team to achieve and exceed goals.

Conduct performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.

Recognize performance gaps and provide additional coaching and training.

Drive Sales Performance

You’ll know the numbers and use them to make the team better.

Monitor individual and team sales results.

Prepare and review sales reports.

Track targets, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.

Identify opportunities to improve results.

Develop action plans when performance needs attention.

Celebrate wins and keep the team focused on the next goal.

Maintain High Standards

Great sales aren’t just about the numbers, they’re also about delivering excellent customer experience.

You’ll oversee quality control across the sales team, review consultations and customer interactions, and make sure our sales standards are consistently followed.

When something can be done better, you’ll provide the coaching and support needed to improve it.

Develop Smarter Sales Strategies

You’ll have the opportunity to help shape how we sell.

You’ll work with leadership to:

Develop and implement sales strategies.

Identify new opportunities for growth.

Improve conversion rates.

Strengthen sales processes.

Find ways to make the team more effective and efficient.

We want someone who can look at the numbers, understand what’s happening on the sales floor, and turn those insights into action.

Own the Sales Process

You’ll help make sure the entire sales operation runs smoothly.

From consultations and follow-ups to CRM usage and sales procedures, you’ll ensure the team has a clear process and follows it consistently.

You’ll also help improve those processes as the company and sales team continue to grow.

Work Across the Business

Sales doesn’t operate in isolation.

You’ll collaborate with other departments to improve the customer journey, communicate important customer feedback, solve problems, and make sure everyone is working toward the same goals.

Step In When It Matters

As Sales Manager, you’ll still be willing to get involved.

Whether that means conducting a consultation, helping close an opportunity, supporting a Sales Representative through a challenging situation, or stepping in when the team is busy, you’ll lead from the front.

You’ll also take ownership of escalated customer complaints and work toward professional solutions that protect both the customer experience and the business.

Who We’re Looking For: How You’ll Lead in Our Firm

We’re looking for a leader whose day-to-day behavior reflects the standards we expect across the firm. For us, leadership is not just about hitting a number—it’s about accountability, ownership, teamwork, professionalism, continuous improvement, and doing what is right for the client and the business.

Lead by example. You won’t ask the team to do something you haven’t been willing to learn, practice, and prove you can do yourself.

Take ownership. You follow through, address problems directly, and look for solutions instead of waiting for someone else to fix them.

Hold a high standard. You care about results, but you also care how those results are achieved. You reinforce the firm’s sales process, quality standards, documentation expectations, and professional client experience.

Coach to make people better. You give clear, actionable feedback, recognize where someone is struggling, and put the right coaching or training in place rather than simply pointing out the problem.

Create accountability. You set clear expectations, track performance, have difficult conversations when necessary, and follow through consistently.

Operate as one team. You communicate well with leadership and other departments, share information, and make decisions with the overall success of the firm in mind—not just the sales department.

Use data and judgment. You are comfortable with sales reports, KPIs, conversion data, and quality-control findings, and you use them to identify what needs to change.

Stay professional under pressure. You can handle escalated client concerns, performance issues, and changing priorities without losing focus or lowering the standard.

Keep improving. You look for better ways to sell, coach, follow up, and operate, and you are open to feedback about your own performance as a leader.

Build trust through consistency. Your team knows what you expect, leadership can rely on your follow-through, and you do what you say you are going to do.

Why This Opportunity Is Different

You won’t be expected to walk into the business and manage a sales process you’ve never experienced. You’ll earn the opportunity to lead it by proving you can sell it, coach it, and help others succeed within it.

You’ll learn it. You’ll sell it. You’ll prove it. You’ll help scale it. Then you’ll lead it.

If you’re hungry to grow, confident in your ability to sell, and excited by the opportunity to build and lead a successful sales team, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and take the next step from salesperson to sales leader.
