Position: SafeRoads Adjudicator Opening
Safe Roads is seeking a full-time Adjudicator in Edmonton to independently review impaired driving penalty cases. Play an integral role in enhancing road safety through fair decision-making.

This position will require you to evaluate complex submissions, perform hearings, and produce clear, evidence-based decisions to uphold justice. Strong critical thinking skills and legal knowledge are crucial as you navigate the legislative landscape of road safety and administrative penalties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve factual disputes through evidence review

• Conduct video and teleconference hearings with professionalism

• Write legally sound decisions that address submissions

• Keep updated with relevant laws and regulations

• Collaborate with colleagues for consistent decision-making

Requirements:

• Related university degree, e.g., Law or Public Administration

• Six years of progressive experience in adjudication

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Proven conflict resolution and analytical skills
