Responsibiliteies for Risk & Conflicts Analyst:
Analyze reports for Conflict Check Requests related to new business, lateral hires, and trade reports
Conduct in-depth research on companies, organizations, and individuals, including ownership details, using internal and external databases
Support client and matter onboarding by performing risk checks on conflicts, confidentiality, client due diligence, jurisdictional concerns, and reputational risks
Maintain and update client and matter information within internal databases
Assist with ad-hoc research, special projects, and compliance initiatives within the Risk department
Demonstrate strong customer service skills, work independently, and be available for occasional overtime as needed
Qualifications for Risk & Conflicts Analyst:
Bachelor’s degree with experience in a professional or legal office environment preferred
Strong understanding of corporate structures, conflict resolution rules, and governance issues; experience with IntApp Open is a plus
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels
Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex issues and ask relevant questions
Proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to assist in administrative tasks and continuously develop expertise
