The Role
The role offers exposure to a broad range of non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters. The ideal candidate will have experience advising insolvency practitioners, corporates, and creditors on matters such as:
Administration and liquidation appointments Schemes of arrangement and restructuring plans Pre-pack administrations General corporate restructuring and insolvency advisory work This is a transactional role, and candidates should note that contentious insolvency experience is not the focus. The firm’s litigation team handles contentious aspects and is already well-resourced in this area. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the London finance team and with international counterparts, providing UK legal support on multi-jurisdictional matters.
Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a commercially minded lawyer with strong technical expertise and an enthusiasm for cross-border work. The ideal profile includes: 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience at a reputable law firm or restructuring practice Solid experience with UK insolvency and restructuring regimes Confidence dealing directly with clients, including insolvency practitioners, sponsors, and corporate entities A proactive approach to business development and
