Position: Restructuring Counsel – Global Investment Firm

A leading Global Investment Firm is seeking a Restructuring Counsel to join its prestigious legal team. The Restructuring Counsel will act as a legal advisor and provide support for the Firms investment activities involved in various restructurings and reorganizations.
Key Responsibilities
:
Serve as the primary advisor on bankruptcy and insolvency matters, identifying key risks and providing strategic legal guidance.
Lead and manage the Firms legal involvement in restructurings, bankruptcies, creditors committees, and liability management transactions.
Oversee outside counsel and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues related to reorganizations and post-restructuring interests.
Required Skills
:
J.D., Bar membership and 4+ years of expertise in bankruptcy and restructuring whether in-house or at a nationally recognized law firm.
Experience with in-court and out-of-court restructurings and transactions involving multiple creditor constituencies.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executive presence and work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands and projects simultaneously.
