We are looking for an Evening Hospitality Professional who understands that a great dinner is an experience, not just a transaction. The Role
As an Evening Restaurant Server, you are the primary ambassador of our nighttime culinary program. You aren’t just “taking orders”—you are guiding guests through a dining journey that reflects the soul of the North Country.
- The Culinary Storyteller: Set the stage for a memorable evening by presenting our dinner menu and curated beverage list with deep knowledge, helping guests discover their new favorite pairing.
- The Precision Operator: Manage your section with a sense of urgency and grace. You ensure the “rhythm of the table” is perfect—from seamless transitions between courses to maintaining a spotless environment.
- The Brand Advocate: Proactively promote our retail store, spa, and upcoming hotel events, acting as a sales-minded representative for the entire Hotel Saranac experience.
- The Team Catalyst: Work in lockstep with our kitchen and bar teams to ensure every evening shift runs with excellence.
- The Problem Solver: Handle guest needs and feedback with a positive, uplifting attitude, turning every interaction into an opportunity to build a lifelong fan of the hotel.
What You Bring
- The Hospitality Spark: A naturally friendly and trustworthy personality that makes guests feel like they are dining with an old friend.
- Purposeful Energy: You thrive in high-volume evening environments and take pride in your ability to remain calm and efficient when the dining room is at its busiest.
- Experience: 1–2 years of prior service experience with a professional, polished touch.
- Physical Stamina: You enjoy staying active and can regularly lift and carry 40 pounds.
- Professional Polish: TIPS certified (or willing to become so) with a focus on sanitation, order, and precision.
