Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Restaurant Equipment Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our restaurant’s kitchen and service equipment in top shape. Your hands-on mechanical skills and troubleshooting expertise will ensure that all appliances, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical systems operate smoothly, supporting a seamless dining experience. Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of restaurant equipment including refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical systems.
- Install new appliances and equipment following schematics and technical specifications to ensure proper setup and operation.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning, and other mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems early and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with staff about repairs, maintenance schedules, and system performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.
- Experience with appliance installation, maintenance, and repair in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, HVAC & appliance technology is essential.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and HVAC system repair techniques.
- Ability to operate maintenance tools safely and effectively; experience with MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) practices is a plus.
- Construction experience or background in mechanical systems repair is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
