Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Residential Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support real estate closings, and related legal processes within a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This position is perfect for someone with experience as a closing paralegal, but we are open to candidates eager to grow their legal expertise in residential real estate while contributing to the success of our firm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review legal documents such as deeds, affidavits, closing statements, and settlement statements
- Coordinate communication between clients, lenders, escrow officers, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely closings
- Maintain meticulous records of all transaction documents using SoftPro Select software
- Balance lender closing disclosures and statements and fully disburse files upon recordation
- Administrative tasks may include data entry and review, filing and recording closing documents, and proofreading legal documents
Skills
- Strong understanding of residential real estate law including title work, escrow procedures, and closing processes
- Experience and proficiency with SoftPro Select
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail for drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for liaising with clients

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
