Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Research Investigator role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Research Investigator will conduct fact-finding for litigation and claims matters, including gathering records, interviewing witnesses, and supporting surveillance activities under direction. The role involves planning and executing investigative research, analyzing findings, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining accurate case documentation. The Research Investigator will collaborate with attorneys, insurance professionals, and internal teams to clarify objectives, timelines, and evidentiary needs. The position requires strict adherence to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards while managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Research, including information gathering, data analysis, and documentation of investigative findings.
  • Experience or familiarity with Research and Development (R&D) and In Vivo methodologies, including applying structured methods to real-world investigations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise reports and testify to findings when needed.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work on-site in the San Fernando Valley Area, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple cases.
  • Preferred: Prior investigative, legal, insurance, or law enforcement experience; knowledge of litigation processes and claims workflows.
  • Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, forensic science, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
