Are you someone who enjoys digging into complex cases, connecting the dots, and uncovering the full story behind customer complaints? We're partnering with a leading technology company to hire a Research Investigator to support a fast-paced Legal & Regulatory Support team.
This is a fully remote opportunity for professionals with experience in compliance investigations, dispute resolution, legal support, fraud investigations, or financial services operations who thrive in an investigative, detail-oriented environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Investigate customer complaints by reviewing account history, transaction activity, case notes, and customer interactions across multiple internal systems.
- Conduct detailed research to build complete timelines and summarize findings into clear, well-organized reports for Legal and Compliance teams.
- Support legal requests by locating and compiling responsive documentation for subpoenas and other regulatory matters.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Customer Support teams to resolve open questions and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain detailed case records while handling confidential legal and regulatory information.
We're Looking For Candidates With:
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, legal support, investigations, fraud, dispute resolution, risk operations, or financial services
- Experience researching information across multiple systems and producing clear written summaries
- Salesforce experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as financial services, fintech, SaaS, banking, or payments is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and investigative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
