Veterans Affairs Law, P.A., is seeking a friendly and professional Research/Paralegal/Case Manager position to join our team. In this position, you will be a first point of contact with our clients and will play a crucial role in providing answers and researching claims. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle clients’ inquiries and requests efficiently and confidentially. Veteran status is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
– Greet clients with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
– Review client documents, research old denied claims.
– Research Military Histories, personnel records, service treatment records.
– Research National Archives for command chronologies.
– Handle client inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
– Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
– Maintain a neat and organized desk area.
– Review Medical Records to evaluate client claims.
Required Skills:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficient in using phone systems, Microsoft Office, and other office equipment.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs industry practices and procedures is a plus.

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm EST. This position is not available to work from home.
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (BOE).
