Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
Produce verbatim transcripts, strictly adhering to established style guides.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the transcription process.
Collaborate with the in-office team for assistance as needed.
Required Skills
Prior experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Exceptional listening skills to ensure precise transcription.
Strong adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guidelines.
Excellent literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Proficient typing skills with a focus on both speed and accuracy.
Ability to process sensitive audio/text content (may include offensive material).
Familiarity with legal terminology.
Capability to pass a background check.
