I’m looking for a family law beast! I’m looking for someone who ​is driven and passionate about being a family law paralegal. You are on top of your tasks and you get things done quickly. You are high energy And do not leave a lot of work piled up at the end of the day because you know tomorrow will bring more work . ​Night owls are highly encouraged to apply. A pro at drafting temporary and complex final orders is REQUIRED!
Draft subpoenas. Responding to and Propounding Discovery. Communicate with opposing attorneys and clients. Knowledge of Texas family law and e-filing IS required.
Draft pleadings, including Petitions for Divorce, Modifications, SAPCRs, TROs, Enforcements, Temporary Orders, Final Orders, Protective Orders. Responding to and Propounding Discovery. Must be able to e-file. Client communications important.
Position requires someone who is VERY knowledgeable, dependable and organized and has a critical eye for details. Good at follow up and follow through. Dependable, reliable and can work independently and quickly turn around assignments with little supervision. Sensitive people who cannot handle criticism need not apply. Otherwise, please do not waste my time. Family law is not an area that we can have new people come in and train them as paralegals. - Lastly: What are your salary requirements?
- You should know we work on zoom and interact as a team a lot. So even though remote, you will clock in and out of our “Zoom” Office. Just like you would drive through a regular office you come into our resume office at 8:30 a.m. clock out for an hour for lunch and come back until 5:30. P.m.. We treat it just like we would a regular office . We love the sense of togetherness, camaraderie and at times laughs… so if that is not something you are comfortable with we understand and wish you well.
