Key Responsibilities
Accurately transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
Strictly adhere to established style guides to produce verbatim transcripts.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in discerning spoken content.
Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team as needed.
Required Skills
Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping.
Excellent listening abilities and outstanding literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Strong adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
Proficient typing skills, with a focus on both speed and accuracy.
Familiarity with legal terminology and the ability to process sensitive audio content.
Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Qualifications
Significant experience in transcribing legal content, specifically depositions and hearings.
Familiarity with relevant legal terminology is essential.
Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
Currently, applicants residing in Massachusetts or California are not eligible for this position.
