Job Overview
We are actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to enhance our team as an Associate Legal Advisor within the Labor and Employment Division (LELD) based in Washington, D.C. This role provides the flexibility of local remote work for candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of our office and includes the potential for telework.
Key Responsibilities
Offer legal counsel, training, and support on Federal employment law matters to various departments, including senior officials.
Act as agency counsel in both administrative and judicial proceedings.
Manage complex third-party legal matters and provide expert legal guidance to high-ranking officials.
Prior experience in Federal labor and employment law is advantageous.
Required Skills
Exceptional legal analytical capabilities.
Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen and a current member in good standing of the bar of a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Graduate of an American Bar Association accredited law school with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
