Job Summary
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our legal team. We prefer a candidate with 1-3 years experience with family law including Divorce, child custody, child support, motions to modify et. cetra.
Duties
– Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
– Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements
– Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
– Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
– Assist senior attorneys in case preparation and strategy
– Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other involved parties
– Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations within relevant practice areas
Skills
– Strong knowledge of family law
– Able to be in the office and talk to clients daily
– willing to travel outside of Johnson county for court, to include Douglas County, Miami County, Franklin County.
– able to have fun and be a good co-worker

– Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
– Proficient in legal drafting and research
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to litigate cases in court effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
