We are looking for a driven and experienced professional to manage our regulatory and government affairs function on behalf of our client in the energy sector.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
→ Review and prepare legal documents for cooperation agreements (PKS/MOU) with K3S partners and regulators, and monitor internal activities to ensure ongoing compliance with the terms of those agreements
→ Serve as the primary liaison with SKK Migas, Ministry of Energy (ESDM), Ministry of Forestry & Environment (KLHK), and regional government agencies
→ Engage directly with NGOs, local government bodies, and law enforcement agencies to maintain constructive and compliant operational relationships
→ Translate and communicate policies, regulations, and directives issued by all external stakeholders into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams
→ Handle well permitting, HPK forest zone licensing, GEP documentation, and environmental compliance
→ Draft and manage all formal government correspondence and stakeholder-facing documents
→ Monitor regulatory developments and ensure full compliance with applicable upstream oil & gas regulations
REQUIREMENTS
S1 Law, Public Administration, or related field
✓ Min. 3 -10 years in regulatory affairs or government relations
✓ Familiar with SKK Migas ecosystem & regulations
✓ Experience liaising with ESDM, SKK Migas, or KLHK
✓ Proven ability to engage NGOs, local government & law enforcement
✓ Proficiency in Regulatory Affairs with a focus on ensuring compliance and driving strategic initiatives
✓ Proven expertise in Regulatory Compliance and understanding of Regulatory Requirements
✓ Ability to translate regulatory policy into internal operational guidance
✓ Attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and ability to manage deadlines
✓ Strong drafting skills for formal government documents
✓ Willing to travel extensively across South Sumatra for extended field assignments
+ Experienced in oil & gas KKKS or service company (preferred)
+ ESDM, Forestry, environmental permitting experience (preferred)
