A Day in Your Life at MKS:
In your role as Specialist Regulatory Affairs (f/m/d) you are responsible for all aspects of Global Regulatory Affairs such as for the registration of substances under REACH regulations. You will assure compliance of international regulations. You will also work with internal (e. g. R&D Business, Procurement, HSE and Operations) and external experts (national and international authorities). The monitoring of the emerging regulations and trends takes place in Regulatory Affairs department and the results are communicated within the internal departments and a joint implementation is developed. You will also support us in our sustainable development roadmap.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Monitoring of regulations, standards, government policies & practices globally, and determine applicability to MKS product
Exchange with associations, consultant and authorities to define MKS Atotech requirements and follow up activities
Implement MKS Atotech Sustainable development roadmap
Support of local stakeholder on product specific declarations (Conflict Minerals, inventory status, restrictions etc).
Perform new Chemical substance registrations under existing und new schemes
Raw material compliance check
Fulfil reporting requirements
Training of local and global stakeholders
Skills You Bring:
Educational Qualification: B.Sc./ M. Sc. in Chemistry, Toxicology or similar
Experience: 1-3 years
Expertise in Chemistry and Project management
Proficient in SAP
Quick adaptability
Understanding the project tasks and planning next steps
Creative, structured, methodical, and time bound workstyle.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Self-motivation, out of the box thinking, self-accountability, and strong sense of ownership.
Preferred Skills: (Optional)
Working experience in the field of Regulatory Affairs in an international environment in chemical/pharmaceutical industry
You have initial experience in substance specific risk assessment
Accurate and responsible work style as well as high degree of diligence and reliability
Intercultural competence and enjoyment of working in a team
