Case Manager Needed for Busy Plaintiff’s Law Firm
Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP is seeking qualified candidates for the role of a Case Manager. Our firm is a plaintiff’s personal injury trial law firm based in Houston, Texas. Our lawyers represent those who have been severely injured or killed because of the negligence of others in a wide variety of industries and situations, including product defects, motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, oilfield accidents, among others.
Case Managers will have responsibility for the following tasks, among others:
Always providing exceptional client service.
Promptly addressing client concerns regarding medical treatment, transportation, and client satisfaction.
Communicating with clients regularly to ensure that medical information is 100% accurate and up to date.
Ordering client medical and billing records.
Reviewing client medical and billing records to ensure 100% accuracy.
Managing and updating list of medical providers for client’s treatment.
Following up on client’s treatment and coordinating with medical providers.
Coordinating client execution of necessary medical authorizations.
Communicating and coordinating with medical providers regularly.
Managing client medical information in case management system and client’s case file.
Researching and coordinating with new medical providers for client care, as needed.
Assist with the negotiating of client medical bills at the end of each case.
Communicating with and updating lienholders on case status in a timely manner.

The Case Manager must be technology-proficient, able to problem-solve proactively, able to carefully follow the firm’s processes, be accountable for the timely completion of tasks, and have a mindset towards constantly improving their work product.
The position involves significant contact with clients, medical providers, and other firm team members from day one. Excellent customer service skills, conscientiousness, and good judgement are a must.
Experience in the medical field is viewed very positively. The ability to speak Spanish or Vietnamese fluently is highly preferred, but not required. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
The initial hourly rate for this position will be range between $25.00 – $30.00 per hour depending on the candidate’s experience and aptitude for the work. The firm anticipates making annual pay raises and discretionary bonuses depending on the employee’s contributions to the firm and the firm’s overall profitability.
