Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have years of office experience, ideally in a law firm setting. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to providing exceptional support.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information pertaining to cases.
Manage case files and maintain organized records for easy retrieval.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings with clients.
Interview clients to gather necessary information for case preparation.
Ensure compliance with tribal law regulations and securities law as applicable.
Support the legal team in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and evidence.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding case updates and requirements.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a law office is preferred.
Knowledge of estate and probate law is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

Pay: $20.00 – $20.01 per hour
