Successful applicants will have previous secretarial and office experience and will be responsible for the following:

Provide clerical and administrative support to lawyers, paralegals and others within the office.
Answering the telephone. Retrieving mail and delivering mail. Back up to office receptionist.
Direct client and prospective client contact via phone and in-person meetings.
Scheduling client meetings and collection of client information and documents.
Learning how to, and eventually independently typing estate plans, deeds and other legal instruments.
Typing and general use of office equipment.
Organization of digital files and digital data.
Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of Software Products.
Easily learn new and unique software without intimidation.
Great attention to detail.
Work in a team setting and ability to structure one’s work day so as to work independently on projects.
Ability to write and proofread one’s own work to limit grammatical and spelling errors.
Sitting and use of computer equipment for long periods of time.
Business Casual Dress for a professional office.
Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
