Gonzales Gonzales & Gonzales Immigration Law Offices is currently looking to hire a full-time Receptionist/Legal Assistant for our office located in downtown Seattle. The Receptionist/Legal Assistant position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients when they arrive at the office, and as well as when clients contact the Firm by phone. The Receptionist/Legal Assistant is responsible for greeting all clients in the lobby and alerting the person with whom they have an appointment. Also, the Receptionist/Legal Assistant is responsible for tidying and keeping the common areas well-stocked. These areas include the kitchen, conference room, and lobby. Duties also include writing and sending billings to clients, and may include helping with the submission of applications for, and contacting the Government about, clients’ cases. Other duties are also included, and will be described when the Receptionist/Legal Assistant is trained. There are also other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to get along well with others in high pressure and demanding situations. Additionally, the qualified candidate should be someone with a strong writing proficiency with keen attention to detail, ability to stay organized, and ability to effectively problem solve. Ability to speak Spanish is helpful, but not a requirement.
