Job Summary:
The Gonzalez Law Group is seeking a Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal with experience in Personal Injury to join our firm. Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Meeting deadlines while maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment is an absolute necessity. Candidate should be computer literate with modern software applications. Professionalism and a strong work ethic are paramount. You will provide overall support to attorneys’ business needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Meet with potential clients
Negotiate files with insurance adjusters
Secure case evidence / communicate with clients, witnesses, insurance adjusters and providers
Investigate facts as requested by attorney
Timely review of client files
Keep clients informed of case status effectively and professionally
Ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents.
Journal deadlines for responses and monitor for timeliness.
Working knowledge and experience of e-Filing in both State and Federal Court systems, discovery, deposition summaries, legal documents such as pleadings, chronologies, deposition and/or trial binders is a plus
Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of Personal Injury experience required;
Must be able to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently.
