mlcoais seeking a dedicated, bubbly, receptionist with a high level of attention to detail to join our team. We are a national provider of independent medical specialist opinion and advisory service to insurers, government departments, self-insured companies and the legal profession.

This role is essential for how we present ourselves to our clients, consulting specialists and patients. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our team continues to provide a high level of customer service and clerical support in a fast-paced environment

Job Description

Your key responsibilities include:

Answering and/or directing phone calls

Meet and greet all visitors to the office

Check in patients, ensure completion of paperwork and update patient details

General administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and scheduling appointments

Contact claimants regarding upcoming appointments

Mail distribution and dispatch (including courier management)

Manage the day to day presentation and preparation of consulting rooms

Administration support to Medical Specialist and Client Services Team

Qualifications

To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated:

Exceptional attention to detail

Experience prioritising work in a very busy office environment

Good time management with the ability to manage interruptions and re-adjust priorities

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

A positive, empathetic, helpful approach and able to work within a confidential environment

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, while maintaining flexibility

Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Experience working in the healthcare/medical practice/legal sector an advantage
