Our partner, a prestigious law firm located in North Bethesda, MD, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Foreclosure Paralegal to enhance their team at the Creditor’s Rights, Foreclosure, and Bankruptcy Department. Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: As a Foreclosure Paralegal, you will play a critical role in managing bankruptcy and foreclosure cases from inception to resolution. This includes preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions and schedules, reviewing title reports, and preparing title claims and related documents.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to collect relevant information and provide updates on case progress. Your role as a Bankruptcy Paralegal is vital in maintaining strong client relationships.
Legal Research and Support: Conduct legal research and provide support to attorneys in trial preparation, hearings, and client meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate.
5+ years of experience in commercial and residential foreclosure, with an emphasis on Washington, DC, and Maryland
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in title-industry-based software and Microsoft Office Suite.
